New App 1.7 and firmware updates

Electrocompaniet is pleased to announce the rollout of a new firmware for the current line of streaming products, Which includes the following enhancements:

• Update for new Spotify conformance which enables Spotify Free support on all products, as well as support for future Spotify functionalities.
• Updated certificates to fix some radio stations and security.
• Updated firmware for SIRA 1 subwoofer.

App updates:

•  Updated for new Spotify conformance and future Spotify functions and enhancements.
•  Improved system discovery: Persistent cache, scan and manual entry.
•  Warn if user has Local Network access permission set to off.
•  Added details for each known system accessed from rooms view.
•  Show popup if new version of the app is available on the store.
•  Added support for split screen mode on supported devices.
•  Updated language translation files.
•  Allow volume control when nothing is playing.
•  Bug fixes and UI improvements.
